Hey everyone, so it’s been a little while since I’ve posted, and that’s mainly due to three reasons. I’ve been busy prepping for the Leeds Northern Open 4 Tournament which happened February the 20th which was fantastic and what the majority of what this post is about; updating you guys. Secondly I split up with my girlfriend and went down south to stay with my parents for a week so that she could move out of my flat. Finally, I turned 25.
So it’s been a pretty crazy fortnight. But below you can see some pictures of the amazing tables from the tournament. They were truly epic especially the first table you can see which consisted of warmill terrain and tea lights. I think that was my favourite despite getting my ass wooped on it by James from Gribbley Gaming. Plus it was good fun taking the Tohaa on their first ITS outing and overall I managed to place 10th which was two better than last time and claimed a Nomad Hellcat as a prize for taking a painted army.
So check out the video below to see how I got on in each of my games consisting of frontline, highly classified and seize the antenna and what I’ve got coming up in the near future.
Hey everyone, so it’s been an eventful week here at the Plastic Crack Blog as I was lucky enough to have Dave from www.splayedpaintbrush.com over. Dave and I first met at the Northern Open 3 tournament and he was really fun to play and whilst everyone was incredibly friendly there me and Dave talked a fair bit that day. Back then before I had my Tohaa I played his PanO using a vanilla ariadna force which focused on the russians. So when I found out he was part of the G.N.OM.E Bolton Boys and had my table ready I knew I had to have him round for a rematch.
Also what makes this video cool is that it’s the first time using my mag lev train from TT Combat , the new softbox lights and new ultra wide canon lense which as you can see makes the video a lot sharper and nicer to watch.
If you go over to Dave’s site you can see how he converts and paints his miniatures and he does tutorials on casting bases as you can see here they are some sexy toys
But for now, grab a beer and enjoy watching our game
A little update on my gaming board and my Tohaa in preparation for the Northern Open 4. I talk about how they fared in highly classified and frontline as well as show you guys my new infinity case from KR Multicase
